TNT Airlines at a glance

The Global Airlines team's role is to supply the TNT network with the required aircraft numbers and aircraft types to meet the ever changing network schedule and volume requirements.

We take care of aircraft, maintenance, airside handling, traffic rights, slots and a large amount of pilots who operate the fleet every night to and from all TNT network airport locations.

Our objective is identical to the wider TNT network although expressed in different KPIs such as technical reliability and on-time performance which match the network schedule, enabling completion of the service chain.

The TNT aircraft fleet of BAe146, B737, B757, B777 and B747 is primarly our own but may also be 3rd party operators who we contract for certain routes.

Further to the operations, we also sell ACS (Air Cargo Sales) empty capacity to partners or general cargo marked with the aim to reduce our network cost or develop new sectors supported by 3rd party traffic.

We are currently phasing out the old BAe146 aircraft and replacing them with B737s.

The Global Airlines team is part of the TNT Global Network Operations team and is composed of two airlines: TNT Airways SA, based in Liege, Belgium, and PanAir, based in Madrid, Spain.
TNT Airways also owns 50% of X-air services, joint venture with the MRO provider Sabena techincs.
