The aircraft maintenance is divided into several large sections Fleet Managers, Technical Services and Maintenance Control (or LMC). 
                                    
                                                                    
The other two sections, the Maintenance Department - which includes the Line Maintenance and Stores - and the Materials and Logistics Department for the parts - were transferred in October 2009 to X-air services, which is owned in equal parts by TNT Airways and by Sabena technics.

Although independent, X-air services is still part of the line maintenance process of TNT Airways.

The airline company is responsible for ensuring that maintenance tasks on aircraft, performed by its staff members or a subcontractor, are completed on time and according to applicable standards.
